Tiny house getaways are becoming more and more popular as a unique destination for travelers.
It’s by far my favorite way to travel, each tiny house has it’s own special character to it.
Especially if your thinking that you may want to downsize to a smaller lifestyle, staying in multiple tiny house getaways can really be a realistic experience.

1. La Casita Cacao Tiny House
Where do I even begin with this magical stay in Hesperia, California???……
The minute you walk into this cozy and stylish fully off-grid tiny house, you are greeted with the soft scents of aromatherapy.
This simple touch really sets the tone for the rest of the stay!
At every corner you are treated to a spa like experience with locally sourced lotions, oils etc.
The host has carefully thought out every detail; right down to providing robes and slippers for you to complete your pampered desert retreat.

The tiny house has it’s own special name La Casita Cacao, named after the adorable family that offers this unique desert getaway.
The Cacao family decided to take an old storage shed on their land and turn into a fully off grid tiny house, completely run on solar power!
How cool is that?! If you’re at all curious to learn about how a off grid lifestyle is possible and can be luxurious, then this is the place to check out!
And did I mention that it’s on a farm? Make sure to introduce yourself to the adorable llamas, Cheyenne and Ryder!

The Hummingbird house was custom built by the owners and was originally used as a home to stay in while visiting the ranch for horseback riding. Without a doubt that view of the Mojave straight out the kitchen window is the highlight of this desert getaway!
Each tiny house on this property is specially named after the colorful stained glass windows brought back from Mexico, giving each it’s own tiny charm.

These unique towers are part of The Castle House Estate in Joshua Tree, California, on eight picturesque acres. In addition to the towers are several glamping tents and spots in the back of the property to bring a tent and friends!
You can either rent one tower for the night or both towers, so a party of up to 6 can enjoy these rooftop views.
My absolute favorite part of this tiny house desert getaway is the rooftop lounge beds that are the perfect view point for sunsets and starry nights!
